My Mum had a small ornament of the Three Wise Monkeys, something I had forgotten about until I started these paintings.
The memory of it surfaced 35+ years later, making me realise how deep rooted our memories and influence goes.
Today, in a world where negativity has so many ways of reaching us these paintings are a visual reminder to try and avoid such things whenever we can.
